Fibro Fog or My Doctor Told Me There Would Be Days Like These

Last night I had a great idea to blog about, but I’m in a fibromyalgia flare-up, and I can’t remember what it was. It helps to laugh at myself. I spent most of the day weeding the garden–at least until it made me dizzy. I’m fortunate to have family and good neighbors around. I can’t imagine what it’s like to have something like cancer AND have to go through chemotherapy, or rheumatoid arthritis or lupus and have to make day-to-day decisions. And yet many have to work under such circumstances just to not be homeless. Many have children to raise. I certainly hope the US Supreme Court never decides to do away with the Americans with Disabilities Act like they did with civil rights. They get to retire when they want with benefits and a good pension, and until then, it must be nice to have that kind of salary and be in a position where they could see themselves as above everybody else. Maybe the founding fathers had fibro fog when they came up with the system?
