Here and Now

July 10, 2014

We are where we are because of the choices we’ve made. Therefore, we’re where we’re supposed to be. We also have the ability to change. It is what it is.

Two days ago I posted my thoughts on grief and grieving as I am, but never could see the post. Now I’ve discovered my post has been taken over by something called Gravitar. God Bless my nephew for helping me deal with this. I don’t understand it all. I’m a living, analog person. Fortunately, when the screen came up in Spanish I was able to understand. It’s computer language I don’t understand.

So here I am. I choose to be here. I have no idea how my blog metamorphosed without any warning, but I think I’m still here, just in a new world.

“Slug”: To me a slug is a slightly slimy critter that sometimes eats my flowers and is often eaten by our local Washington (Evergreen State, NOT DC) possums. To others a slug could mean a punch, a strike with a bat, or maybe ammunition. Could a slug be the name or URL of my blog??? That makes no sense. It also makes no sense to publish only the title of the blog, its tags, and its categories. This I do not understand. So just because I’m in a new world with no directions or orientation, I’m going to put a featured image, and we’ll see if that’s posted.

George Bernard Shaw said something to the effect that the greatest mistake with communication is believing it’s taking place. This applies.

Good Grief
