Thanksgiving/birthday 2011

November 26, 2011

Thank you for being here with me 🙂 This birthday/Thanksgiving is the most wonderful so far. I have a home, the best friends in the world, doctors who really care, lots of fun and creative things to do when I’m up to it, lots of comfy places to rest, the best sister and sister in law–I HAVE JOY 🙂

My 9 year old cat is playing like a kitten again. My parakeet helped raise a family of hummingbirds this year, and he’s rightfully proud. In spite of a short, mild, but perfect summer, the garden was brilliant with color and variety.

I’m currently revising my next novel, Five Flowers, with the support of my favorite writers group, The Magic Pen. And I like the way the characters have expressed themselves. Preview: Henry VIII reincarnates as Jack the Ripper and then as one of the 20th century’s most notorious serial killers, but it’s not about him–it’s about the 5 women symbolized by their flowers. It’s about choice with some paranormal fun.

I’ve also been researching the next novel, Noted. I’ve written a few scenes, and that was fun. It’s great to be able to look back at the past and learn from it, to have a present full of beauty and kindness, and some cool things to do to look forward to. Te amo mi vida 🙂
Thank you everyone! Being able to share brings the joy 🙂 Wishing everyone joyful thoughts and the gift of seeing the beauty around you wherever you may be. And may you be at ease in mind and body.
